ABSC is actively seeking an Operations Manager to provide program and operations support to the Army Research and Technology Protection Center (ARTPC). The selected candidate reports to the Governments Operations Officer and is responsible for managing daily, weekly, and monthly operational tasks, ensuring the seamless execution of recurring functions, and supporting ARTPC leadership with critical operational and administrative activities. The selected candidate also reports to the ABSCs Executive Vice President of Programs and will play a critical role in overseeing project execution, ensuring efficient team coordination, and maintaining compliance with customer requirements. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and leadership for the Operations Team, ensuring alignment with ARTPC objectives.
  • Oversee recurring operational tasks, ensuring timely execution and quality control.
  • Support coordination efforts with ARTPC leadership and other stakeholders.

Database Management:

  • Oversee and ensure accuracy in ARTPC database operations, including quality control checks for Research and Technology Protection (RTP) memorandums and training data.
  • Support metrics reporting requirements, including compiling and posting key performance data.
  • Manage archival and record-keeping functions for leader meeting materials and operational reports.

Operations Management & Support:

  • Manage recurring task execution, including tracking, reporting, and administrative support.
  • Oversee the maintenance of organizational charts, seating charts, and emergency contact rosters.
  • Coordinate training reports and ensure accurate reporting of ARTPC performance data.
  • Supervise the tracking of ARTPC memos, Task Management Tool (TMT) coordination, and other administrative functions.

Graphics & Training Materials:

  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of graphics-related materials, ensuring compliance with ARTPC branding and Public Affairs Office (PAO) requirements.
  • Coordinate with graphics specialists to manage SharePoint access and update training materials as needed.
  • Ensure all materials used for leader meetings and briefings are up to date and visually effective.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree plus 6 years' relevant operations experience
  • Experience as a Non-Commissioned Officer E-6 or higher OR experience supporting an S-3 shop or Army Battalion operations
  • Familiarity with U.S. Army Processes, Acquisitions, and Organizational Structure
  • Familiarity with U.S. Army Order of Battle
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to take ownership of tasks, drive them to completion, and deliver results on schedule with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with ARTPC leadership and team members.
  • Ability to create and maintain operational reports, presentations, and training materials.
  • Ability and willingness to obtain the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification within six (6) months.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience briefing senior leaders and decision-makers
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, TMT, and database management tools.
  • Knowledge of data analytics, reporting tools, and database management best practices.

Salary is commensurate with experience. Salary range for this requisition is: $100-180k.
