Your team:

As a Data and Business Intelligence Architect, you will work within a cross-functional and collaborative ecosystem, interacting closely with business teams, implementation teams (data, BI, IT), and the Group’s community of architects. This agile and multidisciplinary environment will place you at the heart of the data challenges facing the “Beyond Road” business line, in line with Michelin’s technological standards and strategic direction.


Your role:

You will act as a technical expert and influential leader. You will guide teams in the design and implementation of robust, scalable analytical solutions, while ensuring architectural consistency and alignment with Group standards. You will bring in-depth expertise in data and BI, driven by a strategic vision, to ensure that solutions meet business objectives, drive innovation, and support continuous improvement.


We need you to:

  • Continuous Architecture: Regularly review and enhance system and data architectures to ensure alignment with evolving business needs and technology advancements.
  • Solution Design & Delivery: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable, innovative data solutions that fit the overall product roadmap.
  • Technical Strategy & Roadmap: Help shape technical strategies by defining reference architectures, strategic directions and roadmaps aligned with the Group. Ensuring solutions add business value and support product lifecycles.
  • Architecture Activities: Work with delivery teams to ensure architectural decisions are made at the right level and that they are understood and shared. Conduct architecture reviews to ensure solutions comply with standards and guiding principles.
  • Technology Watch & Innovation: Monitor emerging technologies, trends and Michelin technology roadmaps; recommend adoption or initiate studies to support additional business needs while insuring technical coherence.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Facilitate collaboration among all stakeholders (Business / IT), lead workshops, and communicate architectural concepts in a clear and accessible way.
  • Architecture Documentation: Create and maintain clear, accessible, and up-to-date architecture documentation, including architecture diagrams, design and governance principles, patterns, and guidelines.
  • Mentoring and Knowledge Sharing: Share expertise and knowledge with the architecture community and wider organization to develop architectural skills and promote a learning and data driven mindset.

What do you need to possess to be successful in this role?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 10+ Years in Information technology inducing 5+ years of experience in BI solution & data architecture.
  • Strong experience in data modeling, designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and BI solutions.
  • Experience with cloud-based data management solutions (Azure Data Lakes, Databricks), data governance (Unity Catalog, Collibra), and reporting tools (PowerBI)
  • Experience with AI in SDLC (Software development lifecycle), advanced analytics, and machine learning technologies. (VsCode, Gitlab, DataIku, Agents, MCP servers)
  • Skills in system design and optimization.
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural and international environment.
  • Strong business analysis and strategic thinking skills.
