The Market Analysis team is Apple Retail Real Estate's strategic and quantitative intelligence function - we build the frameworks, tools, and analyses that inform where Apple invests in its 500+ store fleet globally. We combine rigorous measurement with strategic insight to shape how leadership thinks about market opportunity, fleet composition, and capital allocation. We're actively transforming into an AI-native analytics team - replacing static, report-driven workflows with automated pipelines, AI-assisted analysis, and scalable tooling. This role will be a key part of that shift: building and adopting new tools to modernize ways of working.
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years in performance measurement, commercial analytics, or quantitative strategy at a major retailer, top-tier consulting firm, or technology company
Strong statistical and analytical fundamentals - track record of designing measurement frameworks that hold up under leadership scrutiny and evolve with the business
Fluency in SQL for data access, manipulation, and validation across large, multi-source datasets
Proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, and tool-building
Experience building and maintaining structured analytical datasets or data models for team consumption
Demonstrated ability to distill complex, multi-dimensional performance data into clear narratives for executive audiences - written, oral, and presentation formats
Experience building automated analytics workflows or tools that use AI, APIs, or programmatic pipelines to replace manual reporting processes
Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years with increasing scope in performance analytics or commercial measurement
Proficiency in causal inference methods (synthetic control, difference-in-differences) applied to business performance
Experience building end-to-end automated analytics pipelines - from data ingestion through insight delivery - using AI tooling
Background in retail real estate, store operations, or fleet performance management
Familiarity with GIS, spatial analysis, or large-scale retail data infrastructure
Cross-functional experience partnering with Finance, Real Estate, or Strategy teams
MBA or equivalent advanced degree
