Job Description
  • Intuitive is seeking a proactive Market Intelligence Analyst to drive critical business decisions for one or more of Intuitive's business units (e.g., Multiport, SP, Endoluminal, Digital, Services) by developing actionable market intelligence. The Market Intelligence Analyst will identify marketplace opportunities and reduce decision making risk. S/he will play a key role in increasing the impact of qualitative, quantitative market research to inform key business decisions at Intuitive

Duties and responsibilities
  • Actively consult with business partners to understand decisions requiring marketplace insights
  • Determine how to best address business needs with primary and secondary market research
  • Leverage/mine existing research insights (tracking and other foundational studies) to inform decisions
  • Manage workload - including all aspects of research projects, including design, field, and analysis
  • Craft and deliver research presentations using storytelling techniques
  • Increase research value through collaboration with members of Global Customer Insights and Global Competitive Intelligence teams and other internal stakeholders
  • Be a passionate Voice of Customer at cross-functional meetings
  • Select and effectively manage outside research vendors and consultancies

Qualifications
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience analyzing problems using data sets, logic and holistic thinking
  • Experience with a wide range of both primary (qualitative and quantitative) and secondary methods.
  • Undergraduate level degree, graduate level preferred. Marketing/Business, Economics, Statistics or other quantitative field
  • Proven ability using data to generate insight, tell stories and develop conclusions and recommendations
  • Ability to manage a diverse group of internal stakeholders and external vendors
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using Qualtrics or similar survey building tool
  • Familiarity with SPSS statistical software or similar
  • Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)
  • Experience in Medical Devices preferred

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications.
