Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a high-visibility, mission-critical program supporting the United States Air Force. This role involves directing a large-scale, upcoming program award, overseeing a portfolio valued at approximately $300M, and managing a team of around 130 personnel. The program focuses on delivering DevSecOps, cybersecurity, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) capabilities for Air Force Mission Planning systems.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the overall execution of a large-scale Air Force program, ensuring excellence across technical, schedule, and cost objectives.
  • Direct a workforce of approximately 130 personnel, including staff and subcontractor partners, to ensure mission alignment and performance.
  • Oversee the delivery of DevSecOps pipelines, secure software development, and modernization initiatives supporting mission planning systems.
  • Provide strategic oversight of cybersecurity engineering, accreditation activities, and compliance with security requirements.
  • Manage FMS-related activities in coordination with international partners and program offices.
  • Serve as the primary interface with senior clients, providing program updates, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations.
  • Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and operational efficiency across all program elements.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and financial management standards.
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree is required.
Experience: 10+ years of experience managing large-scale defense or federal programs, with demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams of 100+ personnel. Candidates must have prior experience directing programs of this scale and a background in DOD/DOW environments.
Technical Skills: Technical knowledge of DevSecOps, cybersecurity, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) is required. Experience with defense systems is ideal.
Clearance: An active Top Secret (TS) clearance is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Air Force Mission Planning or similar C2/ISR programs.
  • Background in FMS, international defense programs, or cross-service coordination.
  • PMP, DAWIA, or equivalent program management certification.
  • A Master's degree in engineering, cybersecurity, business, or a related field.
Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this position is $200,000-$250,000 annually, with flexibility based on experience. Relocation assistance can be considered for this role if needed. A comprehensive benefits package is available.
