GAMEDAY INTERN (UNIVERSITY OF CENTRAL FLORIDA)

THE RUNDOWN

Playfly Sports is looking for a Gameday Intern to join our team at UCF Athletics.ย The primary responsibility of this position is to collaborate with the Partnership Services Team to provide outstanding service at university sports property athletic events. This position will assist in the daily corporate involvements, including but not limited to, coordination or corporate events, gameday responsibilities, and perform other tasks as required to help ensure the success of university sports property.


WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

Support full-time Client Services and Sales staff with game day tasks, including but not limited to, Plaza set up and breakdown, on-site promotions and on-field presentation fulfillment. As well as other necessary tasks to ensure the overall success of university sports property

Assist with the execution of all hospitality elements and events on game days and non-game days

Take photos and documentation of promotions, signage, events and contractual obligations to maintain an accurate image library for annual recaps

Track, maintain, and organize game day inventory

Provide high quality customer service and communication

Represent Playfly Sports, university sports property and the university in a professional manner

Other job-related duties as assigned


WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Minimum 1 year commitment (full school year)

A love for sports

Event or customer service experience strongly desired

Responsible, motivated, and comfortable interacting with fans, partners, and other vendors

Strong problem-solving skills, flexibility, and willingness to participate in multiple events


TRAVEL, LIFTING, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Responsible for attending all home school Football games and other assigned sports home games (including afternoon, night, and weekend games)

Ability to lift a minimum of 25lbs

Must have reliable transportation

COMPENSATION

The pay for this role is $15 an hour. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
