We are looking for a Benefits Coordinator to support the day-to-day administration of employee benefit programs for a Contract position based in Boston, Massachusetts. This role focuses on delivering accurate, timely assistance across benefits processes while helping employees and internal stakeholders navigate coverage, enrollment, and leave-related matters. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, sound knowledge of benefits operations, and the ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism.
Responsibilities:
• Administer employee benefit activities, including enrollments, updates, terminations, and related documentation across multiple plans.
• Coordinate benefits communication by responding to employee questions and providing clear guidance on eligibility, coverage options, and required forms.
• Oversee COBRA-related tasks, ensuring qualifying events, notices, and continuation coverage actions are handled accurately and on schedule.
• Support leave of absence administration by tracking cases, maintaining records, and partnering with relevant teams to ensure compliance with policies.
• Maintain accurate benefits data and audit records regularly to help resolve discrepancies and support reporting needs.
• Collaborate with payroll, human resources, and external vendors to address benefits issues and ensure smooth processing of employee changes.
• Assist with compensation and benefits-related processes by preparing information, verifying details, and supporting ongoing program administration.• Experience supporting benefits administration in a human resources or employee services environment.
• Working knowledge of core benefit functions, including enrollments, plan changes, and employee support.
• Familiarity with benefits coordination practices and the ability to manage multiple requests with accuracy.
• Hands-on experience with COBRA administration and related compliance documentation.
• Understanding of leave of absence processes and the ability to maintain organized case records.
