Job Description

Addison Group is hiring a Benefits Coordinator for our client. This position is responsible for supporting employee benefits administration through accurate invoice processing, payment reconciliation, and record maintenance. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in billing processes, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external vendors to ensure timely and accurate benefits administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, process, and reconcile benefit-related invoices while ensuring timely payment and accurate documentation.
  • Investigate billing variances by partnering with vendors, Payroll, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Track outstanding invoices and payment activity to ensure issues are addressed promptly.
  • Prepare and submit invoice upload templates, ensuring correct coding and data accuracy.
  • Maintain organized records to support audits, financial reporting, and budgeting activities.
  • Coordinate weekly retirement plan funding requests and work with Payroll to resolve contribution discrepancies.
  • Assist employees and internal teams with retirement deduction questions and related issues.
  • Generate and distribute monthly benefits-related reporting for internal stakeholders.
  • Process and mail required benefits and retirement-related documents to eligible participants.
  • Identify opportunities to improve billing workflows and contribute to process enhancements.
  • Perform additional administrative and benefits support duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • 3+ Years of Benefits Coordination/Administration
  • Familiarity with reviewing monthly carrier invoices to ensure new hire and termination are added/removed.
  • Experience with 401k review and resolution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience using lookup functions; proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
