Insurance Benefits Coordinator – Oral Surgery Office (In-Office)
Location: Coeur d'Alene, ID 
Pay: $20–$24 per hour 
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM 
About the Role
Our growing Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery practice is seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Benefits Coordinator to join our team. This is an in-office position (not remote) requiring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and experience working with dental insurance. 
Key Responsibilities
- Verify dental insurance benefits by calling insurance companies for each patient 
- Confirm patient eligibility, coverage details, and limitations 
- Review and verify accuracy of treatment plans prior to patient presentation 
- Ensure estimates align with verified insurance benefits 
- Communicate benefits clearly to both team members and patients 
- Assist patients at the front desk as needed (check-in/out, patient support) 
- Maintain accurate documentation within practice management software 
 
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of dental office experience required 
- Prior experience with insurance verification strongly preferred 
- Strong working knowledge of dental insurance (primary focus) 
- Ability to occasionally assist with medical insurance (minimal use) 
- Excellent phone communication and interpersonal skills 
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail 
- Team-oriented with a willingness to support front office operations 

Schedule
Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 1-hour lunch
