About Ashtabula County Medical Center

- New Patient Care Tower with state-of-the-art, 24-bed ED
- 105-bed hospital
- Located near Lake Erie
Emergency Department Overview
- 24 ED beds designed for optimal patient flow
- Annual ED volume: ~27,000 visits
- 2.0 patients per hour with a 15% admission rate
- Daily coverage: 24 hours of EM physician coverage and 20 hours of APC coverage
- Medium-to-high acuity patient population
- EMR: EPIC
- Helipad available for rapid trauma transfers

- Board-certified ABEM physician
