Job description

Compass Center, Inc. is a multidisciplinary pediatric therapy agency, therapist owned and founded by parents of a special needs and medically complex child. We are hiring candidates to join our Compass Center, Inc. team, who will embrace this opportunity to be part of a growing organization that respects and encourages work-life balance. SLP will provide in-home therapy to children under age 3.

This position has a lot of flexibility with hours/scheduling and you can build your caseload accordingly; SLP will have flexibility to build their own schedule with the families they work with! Pay DOE up to $65 per billable hour and paid drive time and mileage! Plus 401K and more for those eligible! Must be able to service culturally diverse populations and be comfortable working in homes and through tele-therapy. We'd love the chance to tell you more about the position!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide one-on-one intervention with children and their families
  • Administer developmental assessments and write reports within designated timelines
  • Model effective adult-child interactions and provide written information on parenting and child development, as needed
  • Monitor, document and share the child's progress with the family, management, and Service Coordinator
  • Maintain personal calendar, meet timelines, complete tasks as assigned by supervisor
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
  • Masters degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences
  • California Speech-language pathologist license
  • Pass complete Livescan fingerprinting and background check procedure
