Job Description:

This Senior Specialist, program management will establish and maintain multiple projects required for the proprietary modification programs. This candidate will have a strong knowledge of aircraft production, aircraft requirements, and minimal project management that include directing complex projects and ongoing administrative functions of the program initiatives while adhering to contractual obligations and subsequent reporting.

The qualified candidate must be able to:

  • Set goals and empower individuals to take ownership for their assignments. Experience in aircraft and system integration labs.
  • Assist leadership in identifying program growth opportunities in addition to facilitating capture of new opportunities with customers.
  • Have strong and effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills that will facilitate in creating and maintaining a collaborative work environment which includes providing decisive and constructive feedback.

Demonstrate and insist on ethical and professional behavior in accordance with company values

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of program.
  • Drives all phases of aircraft requirements and modification installation planning and execution from inception through completion.
  • Drives program planning to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing, or current programs.
  • Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes.
  • Responsible for Analyzing bids, assisting in development of Deliverables / Schedule / Cashflow forecast.
  • Manages preparation of proposals, performance Statement of Work (SOW) and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract.
  • Acts as primary customer contact for program maintenance activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance to ensure seamless execution.
  • Effectively communicates with all levels of co-workers, senior management, and customer.
  • Works with Functions assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing, and administrative areas to identify areas of improvement for systems and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree with 6 years minimum experience.
    • Master's degree with minimum 4 years' experience.
    • In lieu of a degree, minimum 10 years prior related experience.
  • Clearance: Active Secret clearance, Top Secret Preferred

  • FAA A&P License Preferred
  • Microsoft Office Tools proficiency
  • A&P License
