Maternity Leave Contract

Monday: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Tuesday: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Wednesday:11:00am - 7:00pm

Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm

The wage for this DentalAssistantposition is$31-$36/hourdepending on skills, experience, and location.

Your Role:
  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment

  • Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow

  • Support the orthodontic program (training provided)

  • Take dental X-rays and digital images as required

  • Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards

  • Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care

  • Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks

  • Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care

  • Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines

  • Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour

  • Assist with ordering and inventory control as needed

About You:
  • Registered and/orCertified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or associationis required

  • NDAEB certification is required

  • Experience with Abeldent is preferred

  • Bilingual English and French is preferred

  • Previous dental assisting experience is preferred
