NCO Community Outreach Specialist | Job Description Overview
 

The Community Outreach Specialist plays a key role in expanding Crunch Fitness’s presence by stepping directly into the community with energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for healthy living. This role focuses on building genuine connections, sparking excitement about the Crunch Fitness experience, and inspiring prospective members to take the first step toward their fitness goals. Through engaging conversations, on‑site events, and positive representation of the brand, the specialist gathers lead information from interested individuals and helps introduce them to the Crunch Fitness community. Their mission is to create memorable interactions that turn curiosity into motivation and motivation into membership. 
 
  Responsibilities 
  • Represent Crunch Fitness with enthusiasm and professionalism at community events, local businesses, and public gatherings
  • Initiate friendly, engaging conversations to introduce the Crunch Fitness brand and its offerings
  • Generate excitement about fitness, wellness, and the Crunch Fitness experience to attract prospective members
  • Collect lead information from interested individuals and accurately record it for follow‑up
  • Build positive relationships with community partners, event organizers, and local organizations
  • Identify high‑traffic opportunities and propose new outreach locations or events
  • Set up and manage outreach booths, displays, and promotional materials
  • Communicate Crunch Fitness’s mission, programs, and membership benefits in a clear, compelling way
  • Support marketing campaigns by distributing materials and promoting special offers
  • Track outreach activity, engagement, and lead‑generation metrics to help refine strategy
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Crunch Fitness services to answer questions confidently
  • Uphold brand standards and ensure every interaction reflects Crunch Fitness’s energy and values

 Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a service-oriented position preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate proficiency in reading and writing skills
  • Strong customer service orientation and STRONG communication skills
  • CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire) 
  • Reliable Transportation - this position WILL require using your own transportation at times
