Community Outreach Network is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team in a full-time remote capacity. • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' social, emotional, and environmental needs using standardized evaluation tools to create an accurate profile of challenges and risk factors.
• Develop, implement, and regularly update personalized service plans that specify intervention strategies, short- and long-term goals, and methods for monitoring progress over time.
• Provide individual and family counseling sessions that respect each client’s unique experiences while employing evidence-based therapeutic methods to facilitate healing and behavioral change.
• Assist clients in crisis situations by performing risk assessments, safety planning, and offering immediate support tailored to their needs.
• Engage in advocacy efforts, coordinating with community resources and agencies to ensure clients are connected to necessary services, whether that involves housing assistance, health care, or substance abuse treatment.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives to promote services, gather feedback, and raise awareness about the barriers faced by client populations.
• Attend regular team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to share insights, improve practices, and cultivate an environment of continuous professional development.

The primary focus of this role is on supporting individuals enrolled in detox programs, who are navigating the complexities of substance use disorders. You will work closely with clients experiencing significant life transitions and emotional distress, where your skills in empathy, cultural competence, and trauma-informed care will be essential in building rapport and trust.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required to ensure theoretical knowledge and clinical expertise.
• An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory for this role, affirming your qualifications to practice independently.
• Strong knowledge of social justice issues, trauma-informed approaches, and local community resources is crucial for effective interfacing with clients.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to engage diverse populations in meaningful dialogue.

• Previous experience working in a social service or counseling setting, particularly focusing on substance abuse and recovery, will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
