The Comoto Fulfillment Center in North Las Vegas is looking for its next Operations Manager. The annual salary for this role is $65,000 - $80,000.

About the Role:

Comoto is seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated manager to lead our Fulfillment Center in North Las Vegas, NV. The ideal candidate will be intensely focused on continuous process improvement while simultaneously empowering, engaging, motivating, and ensuring the happiness of our employees. This role will be responsible for either the Inbound & Returns side of the operation and will collaborate with a counterpart on the Outbound Team.

Management Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, train and lead a team of fulfillment personnel
  • Manage all aspects of Comoto's LAS Inbound & Returns fulfillment operation, ensuring inbound product is received and put away in a timely manner. 
  • Oversee the Inbound receiving and putaway process along with proactive storage planning and maintenance. 
  • Intimately understand the business rules, software and vendor relationships related to Comoto's fulfillment operation and proprietary fulfillment platform 
  • Day-to-day oversight of the fulfillment team; including hands-on training, coaching, planning, and performance reviews
  • Work with the Planning Manager to develop a staffing plan and adjust accordingly to handle daily, weekly and seasonal peaks
  • Manage seasonal fluctuations in inventory levels (types of inventory being stocked, and quantities) to ensure that warehouse storage is optimized
  • Complete accountability for meeting and exceeding goals related to accuracy, on time performance and productivity
  • Coordinate with peers to ensure a successful supply chain process
  • Communicates necessary business information to department through weekly team meetings and 1:1's
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years management experience in a Fulfillment operation or similar distribution experience. Inbound or Returns experience is strongly preferred. 
  • Direct and Indirect management of around 50 employees, including managing multiple supervisors across different shifts.
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours including nights and weekends. 
  • On call as escalation point for your team outside of normal business hours
  • Average 50-55 hours per week in and out of season as business requires. 
  • Exceptional people & communication skills. Must possess the ability to motivate, coach and train in an ever-changing & competitive environment
  • Ability to analyze and continuously improve current conditions to ensure efficiency, safety and profitability
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment
  • Extremely strong computer skills. Must be proficient in Excel, Word and Powerpoint and have 5+ years experience working within a WMS or ERP system; experience with JD Edwards is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-evolving high growth environment
