Job description

At Movement, our core values of growth, connection, and integrity are at the heart of everything we do. We're not just a climbing gym - we're a community that's dedicated to transforming lives through climbing, yoga, and fitness and sharing that vision with as many people as we can. As the country’s largest network of climbing gyms, we're building an extraordinary team that's committed to growing our business, our value to our members, our future customers, and our industry.

By expanding our community, we can create rewarding career paths for our team members, continually improve the customer experience, build a sustainable business for the long term, and give back to the communities we are all a part of. We’re looking for passionate, resilient, and business-minded enthusiasts who share our values and want to join us in not only leading the climbing industry but defining it!

We’re looking for a hands-on Marketing Associate to support local marketing efforts across our DFW gyms. This is an execution-focused role responsible for bringing marketing initiatives to life at the local level—both in-gym and in the community.

This role works closely with the Senior Marketing Lead and supports a range of marketing efforts based on business needs. The Marketing Associate should be comfortable flexing across multiple areas of marketing and contributing wherever support is needed.

What You’ll Do

This role will own and/or support execution across the following marketing areas, based on regional priorities:

  • Grassroots Marketing & Community Outreach (events, flyering, local engagement)
  • Local Partnerships (supporting outreach and activation with community partners)
  • In-Gym Marketing & Event Support
  • Content Creation & Editing (photo, video, and basic copywriting)
  • Social Media Execution
  • Email & Website Updates

You may take on deeper ownership within 1–2 of these areas at any given time, while continuing to support across others as needed.

In-Gym Presence (Required)

This is not a fully remote role. Regular, consistent in-gym presence is required.

You’ll spend time in our gyms each week to support marketing efforts, capture content, connect with staff, and ensure marketing reflects the real member experience.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3 years of marketing, community, or event-related experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and shifting needs
  • Experience with social media and basic content creation
  • Interest in community engagement and local marketing
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to be in the gym regularly

What Success Looks Like

  • High-quality execution across a variety of marketing efforts
  • Flexibility and reliability in supporting changing business needs
  • Strong connection to the gym and local community
  • Clear, proactive communication with the Marketing Lead

Additional Information:

Compensation: $23.00 per hour
