This position is geared towards a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility while ensuring that our clients receive the support they need, regardless of geographical limitations. The virtual nature of this role includes telephone consultations and video sessions, facilitating direct communication with clients who may face challenges in attending in-person appointments.

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients via phone and video consultations, gathering crucial information to inform treatment plans.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based approaches, addressing the unique circumstances of each client.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during critical situations, utilizing your skills to de-escalate tensions and facilitate safety.
• Actively engage clients in wellness initiatives and activities that promote positive mental health practices.
• Maintain accurate client records and prepare detailed reports to track progress and inform other professionals involved in the care continuum.
• Stay informed on community resources and referral options to assist clients in accessing additional services that may benefit their situations.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, including training sessions and team meetings, contributing to a culture of learning and collaboration.
• Monitor for signs of child abuse and neglect, ensuring appropriate action is taken to protect vulnerable populations.

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals and families who are experiencing challenges related to mental health, domestic instability, and substance use. Your empathetic approach will be crucial in assisting clients coping with distressing circumstances, while also fostering an understanding of their emotional and psychological needs across different age groups and cultural backgrounds.

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is mandatory.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia is required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and crisis management for assigned populations.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with clients and professionals.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail in documenting and managing client interactions.
• Competency in addressing age-specific and developmental issues relevant to the diverse populations served.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience is preferred, showcasing your ability to handle complex cases and contribute effectively in a behavioral health setting.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly valued, enhancing your ability to serve a broader client base.
