Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of family dynamics and mental health status through virtual consultations.
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions that focus on enhancing communication, resolving conflicts, and improving relationships among family members.
• Develop customized treatment plans that address the specific needs, strengths, and challenges of each individual and family.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support clients through challenging emotions, such as grief and trauma.
• Monitor and evaluate client progress over time, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes.
• Provide expert testimony in legal contexts, elucidating the therapeutic relationship and the impact of client experiences on family dynamics.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals and community resources to expand the support network available to clients.
• Document case notes and treatment plans in accordance with best practices and legal requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMFT at Boulevard Behavioral Health Center, you will work with diverse clients, including individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds. You will address issues such as relational conflicts, emotional distress, trauma recovery, and the management of mental health disorders. Your role will directly impact client well-being, providing essential support to those navigating complex life transitions and fostering healthier family relationships.

Qualifications

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A valid and current LMFT license in the state of Illinois.
• Completion of required supervised clinical hours as mandated by state regulations.
• Exceptional skills in assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic intervention for individuals, couples, and families.
• Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of one year of supervised clinical experience in a mental health setting.
• Experience working with diverse populations and understanding the impact of culture on mental health.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and technology.

Compensation and Benefits
