• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and screenings to determine the mental health needs of clients, identifying appropriate treatment plans tailored to their individual circumstances.
• Provide short-term individual therapy sessions, crisis interventions, and ongoing support to clients struggling with a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and stress management.
• Facilitate support groups and workshops focused on crucial topics such as life skills, coping strategies, and self-care practices, enhancing the overall mental health literacy of clients.
• Engage in regular consultations with colleagues, including social workers and case managers, to ensure a holistic approach to client treatment and support.
• Lead outreach initiatives aimed at increasing community awareness and reducing the stigma associated with mental health issues.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in accordance with ethical guidelines and legal standards, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

This position primarily serves a diverse client population, encompassing children, adolescents, and adults from varied backgrounds. • A valid and active license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field, with at least two years of relevant experience in the mental health sector.
• Demonstrated competence in crisis intervention and the ability to handle a wide range of mental health issues with sensitivity and professionalism.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills suited for connecting with clients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices and approaches, particularly those relevant to community health settings.

• A Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Experience in community health settings, particularly those focusing on comprehensive mental health care for underserved populations.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and best practices is a plus.
