Position Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Community Engagement Manager with experience in senior care. This role collaborates with key team members to develop and execute resident programs and experiences that enhance quality of life, promote engagement, and fulfill Brightwater's mission. The Engagement Manager also facilitates community involvement through volunteerism and safely transports residents using the community vehicle as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Social Engagement:
    • Complete and maintain activities-related evaluations for new residents.
    • Consult with residents individually and in groups to assess activity preferences.
    • Plan and implement diverse activities, including physical, creative, cultural, recreational, social, spiritual, and community service programs.
    • Ensure scheduled activities occur as planned or provide appropriate alternatives.
    • Maintain an active Ambassadors program, including "Welcome Club" and resident-led initiatives.
    • Inform residents of daily activities and lead activities as required.
    • Maintain activities records and resident participation logs.
    • Coordinate Resident Council meetings.
    • Train staff to effectively lead activities.
    • Ensure all activity areas and supply storage spaces are clean and organized.
  • Dining Engagement:
    • Collaborate with the Community Management and Dining Teams to uphold the highest dining room standards.
  • Sales & Marketing Engagement:
    • Provide community tours to prospective residents and their families.
    • Respond to walk-in inquiries when the Sales & Marketing Director is unavailable.
    • Assist the Sales & Marketing team with data compilation and event planning.
    • Participate in local community events to promote Brightwater.
    • Execute move-in procedures to ensure a seamless transition for new residents.
    • Support new residents through orientation to their new home.

Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain authorization to drive company vehicles.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Creativity, innovation, and a proactive approach to engagement.
  • Strong work ethic with high integrity.
  • Professional demeanor and presentation.
  • Preferred knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe software.
