Job description

Help others start their own business in Construction! Detroit Training Center (DTC) is a leading vocational training organization dedicated to empowering individuals with the skills and knowledge needed for success in the construction and skilled trades industries. Committed to community development, DTC is introducing a unique opportunity for a qualified Michigan Residential Builders License Instructor to teach our Michigan Residential Builders License Course.

To become licensed to teach this class, you must currently be licensed as a residential builder or maintenance and alteration contractor with at least 5 years of experience.

As the instructor it would be your responsibility to cover the required materials, answer questions, and provide support for DTC students as they work towards their builder’s license.

We are looking to fill this position for both in person and online classes.
