Job Description

We are currently seeking a qualified Business Development Coordinator - Engineering & Construction to join our corporate team based in our Saskatoon office. The Business Development Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting business development activities that contribute to Bantrel's long-term sustainability and growth. Reporting directly to the Vice President, Business Development, and collaborating closely with Bantrel's Business Development Managers, the coordinator will gain extensive exposure to EPC commercial, contractual, and project execution methodologies. The role also provides valuable visibility with the Bantrel executive leadership team and opportunities for periodic engagement with Bechtel leadership.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the development and production of technical proposals from initiation through submission.
  • Prepare and contribute to proposal content, including execution plans, executive summaries, and other proposal deliverables.
  • Collaborate with discipline chiefs and managers to identify key personnel for proposal submissions.
  • Record meeting minutes and communicate and track action items.
  • Present value-driven topics during Business Development and Operations meetings, including business development opportunities, lessons learned, and value-enhancing initiatives.
  • Participate in client contract reviews and assist in resolving outstanding contractual items within contract documents.
  • Coordinate proposal Red Team reviews and other Business Development meetings.
  • Participate in external industry, client, and community events.
  • Liaise with the Business Development team and external communications resources to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years in the industrial construction and engineering industry
  • Degree in Engineering, Business, or Law, or a Technology diploma combined with field or construction management experience.
  • Experience working on at least one construction site-based project.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written communication skills with experience preparing technical and business documents.
  • Excellent organizational, coordination, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality deliverables.
