Job description

Manning's Auto Body & Repair has served Louisville and the surrounding area since 1994. We operate multiple locations, maintain strong industry relationships, and have built a reputation for quality repairs, customer service, and professionalism.

We're looking for a motivated outside sales professional to grow our commercial relationships, fleet accounts, dealership partnerships, and community presence throughout the Louisville market.

This is not a desk job. We need someone who enjoys meeting people, building relationships, creating opportunities, and driving growth.

Position Overview

This role is responsible for generating new business and strengthening existing relationships across these lanes: commercial fleet accounts, dealership and referral partnerships, Insurance Agent relationships, Employee Programs, and general B2B/community presence in the Louisville market.

This is a self-directed, full-cycle sales role. Beyond a starter list of local insurance agency contacts, lead generation is owned entirely by this position. The successful candidate will independently research, identify, and build prospect lists, and will manage each stage of the sales process, from first contact through close and ongoing account management.

The ideal candidate is comfortable meeting with business owners, fleet managers, dealership service managers, property managers, and community organizations. Success comes from building trust, creating long-term relationships, and consistently generating qualified repair opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Independently research, identify, and build prospect lists across fleet operators, dealerships, property managers, and other target accounts
  • Develop and maintain relationships with commercial fleet operatorsBuild referral relationships with dealerships, car rental agencies, towing companies, insurance agents and other local businesses
  • Identify and pursue new commercial and retail business opportunities throughout the Louisville market
  • Deploy employer programs to local businesses.
  • Represent Manning's at networking events, trade associations, and community functions
  • Maintain a pipeline of prospective customers and referral sources
  • Track sales activity and opportunities using company systems
  • Collaborate with management to develop growth strategies
  • Maintain a professional image that reflects the Manning's brand and reputation
  • Assist in developing marketing campaigns and local outreach efforts

Qualifications

  • Required: Proven ability to independently develop business relationships and generate new commercial accounts.
  • Comfortable with outreach (calls, walk-ins, networking, LinkedIn) to build a pipeline with minimal company-provided leads
  • Previous outside sales, business development, or new-account acquisition experience required
  • Automotive industry experience is a plus but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently with little day-to-day oversight
  • Ability to organize priorities and manage time effectively
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred Background

Candidates with experience in any of the following are strongly encouraged to apply:

  • Automotive sales
  • Auto body or collision repair industry
  • Commercial fleet sales
  • Dealership service department or parts sales
  • Paint and coatings sales
  • B2B sales or account management

Compensation

Base salary: $55,000 - $65,000 + Generous Commission
