Arnold Community Bible Church (Arnold, NE) – Senior Pastor

The Big Picture

Arnold Community Bible Church (https://www.facebook.com/ArnoldCommunityBibleChurch/) is seeking a Senior Pastor who will faithfully preach the Word of God, shepherd the congregation, and equip believers for the work of ministry. The pastor will provide spiritual leadership, foster discipleship, and work alongside church leaders to strengthen the life and mission of the church. The church believes the pastor is called to “equip the saints,” leading the congregation through the faithful preaching of God’s Word, personal shepherding, and the development of a healthy, active body of believers who serve Christ together.



Requirements

Job Profile

Preach an expositional sermon each Sunday, providing sound, faithful teaching rooted in Scripture

Ensure that the ministry of the Word and the Gospel remains central in the life of the church

Provide pastoral care through prayer, encouragement, and example

Lead the church toward spiritual growth and maturity – teaching the congregation to address immaturity, carnality, and spiritual stagnation

Show the congregation how to properly interpret and legitimately apply the Bible for themselves

Equip members to grow as disciples of Jesus Christ

Develop and mentor leaders within the congregation, encouraging shared rather than centralized ministry

Work in cooperation with the Elders and Trustees in guiding the church

Provide oversight for paid staff and ministry leaders

Maintain regular availability through office hours or reliable communication, supporting the orderly and effective operation of church ministries

Build relationships with other local pastors and churches, participating in cooperative ministry efforts consistent with the church’s statement of faith

Encourage the believer’s presence and witness in the broader community – helping the church develop a plan to share the Gospel with ongoing training
