Job description

Accurate Tooling Solutions is seeking an experienced Aerospace Project Manager to lead complex aerospace manufacturing and tooling projects from contract award through final delivery. This position requires a strong background in the aerospace industry and the ability to successfully manage customer expectations, schedules, budgets, and cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and experienced working within AS9100 environments while managing projects with demanding quality and delivery requirements.

Responsibilities

Manage aerospace tooling and manufacturing projects from kickoff through completion

Serve as the primary point of contact for aerospace customers

Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules, milestones, and deliverables

Coordinate activities between engineering, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, and production teams

Monitor project performance, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful execution

Lead customer meetings and provide regular project status updates

Identify project risks and implement corrective actions to minimize impact

Review engineering changes and assess schedule, cost, and resource impacts

Ensure compliance with customer requirements, specifications, and aerospace quality standards

Maintain accurate project documentation and records

Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence efforts

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of Project Management experience in the aerospace manufacturing industry

Strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes, tooling, fabrication, machining, and assembly operations

Experience working within AS9100 quality systems

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

Excellent communication, leadership, and customer relationship skills

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Project

Experience with ERP systems and project management software preferred

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
