Project Manager - ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED

Macomb, MI


A leading aerospace and defense manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee complex capital equipment, tooling, automation, and assembly system projects. This individual will have full P&L ownership and be responsible for managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously from kickoff through completion.


Responsibilities:

  • Own project performance, budget, profitability, and schedule execution
  • Maintain full P&L responsibility for assigned projects
  • Manage multiple large, high-value projects concurrently
  • Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules using Microsoft Project
  • Lead cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while maximizing opportunities
  • Manage customer communications, project changes, and contract compliance
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to customer specifications


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Construction Management, Business, or a related field
  • 5+ years of Project or Program Management experience
  • Proven experience managing multiple complex manufacturing, automation, aerospace, or defense projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated experience with full project financial ownership, including budgets, forecasting, profitability, and cost control
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Ability to read blueprints/CAD models and understand GD&T principles
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and customer management skills
  • U.S. Person status required
  • Active Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI Security Clearance
