Job description

Overview
The Store Operations Communications Manager will work closely with the Store Communications team as well as business owners to help develop and deliver clear, concise, and timely communication to stores with a focus on driving sales and profit. In this role the Manager will assist in the management and support of the workload tool as well as the various communications tools utilized by the team.
Responsibilities
  • Partners with Store Communications team as well as business owners to develop, design, plan, and execute communication and tasks to stores.
  • Drives the development and manages the follow-through of communication plans for assigned businesses.
  • Supports the development, optimization and evolution of the store communication platform to ensure effective, timely and consistent communication across the organization.
  • Actively participates in the content development and support of weekly communication, global emails, message boards, etc. Works closely with the team and business owners to edit, proof, and review content. Ensures all information is timely and accurate.
  • Consults, as necessary, with content owners across the company to help support projects related to assigned businesses.
  • Takes initiative to develop more efficient and simple ways to communicate messages to stores.
  • Monitors factors of assigned area and current business status, identifies opportunities, and recommends improvements/adjustments solutions to ensure business objectives are met.
  • Develops and maintains reports for Stores and other management relevant to assigned area. Ensures report information is accurate and actionable so report has business analysis value.
  • Stays abreast of industry trends and competitors to ensure that best practices are current and relevant.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree required
  • Previous Retail experience required (Store experience preferred)
  • 3-5 years of experience within a corporate environment.
  • Exhibit high standards and accountability; takes pride in accuracy.
  • Ability to provide strategic planning direction and identify growth opportunities.
  • Results-oriented and self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Able to independently organize and prioritize broad workload to meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical capability and ability to influence appropriate course of action.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel.
