Marketing amp; Communications Coordinator
The Marketing amp; Communications Coordinator serves as a key contributor to Cherry Coatings’ marketing and communications operations. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, this role supports the execution of marketing initiatives by coordinating campaigns, developing written and digital content, producing visual assets, overseeing social media activity, and ensuring seamless communication workflows across departments.
This position is essential in maintaining timely, engaging, and brand aligned messaging. The Marketing amp; Communications Coordinator helps advance organizational priorities through daily content production, graphic design for digital and print platforms, scheduling and distributing communications, assisting campaign execution, and upholding consistency in Cherry Coatings’ voice and visual identity across all channels.
Essential Duties:
  • Oversee and manage the corporate website, ensuring timely updates, accurate information, functional forms, and overall content quality and performance.
  • Manage and grow the organization’s social media presence across multiple platforms, including content creation, scheduling, engagement, and performance monitoring.
  • Design and produce high-quality marketing materials, presentations, promotional assets, and branded resources aligned with corporate standards.
  • Provide administrative and project support to executive leadership and the Chief of Staff, including coordination of special initiatives and cross-functional efforts.
  • Support internal and external communications, including public relations activities, messaging, and content development to ensure brand consistency and clarity.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing and communications required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Advanced Excel skills strongly preferred
  • High proficiency with PowerPoint required
  • Strong Outlook calendaring experience required
  • Demonstrated experience supporting senior executives and/or C suite leaders required
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) required
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Self starter who works well independently and collaboratively
  • Strong research, verbal, and written communication skills
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods working at a computer (seated or standing)
  • Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
