Job description

Must pass drug test and background check

This posting is for New Century, Kansas

Shifts - M-F 6:00am - 2:30pm & M-F 11:00am - 7:30pm

Here are some things you'll be doing:

  • Reads/understands orders on a daily basis
  • Builds wooden skids
  • Safely operates radial saw and nail gun
  • Builds and packages skids of flat rolled metal for shipping
  • Operates forklift, man lift, and overhead crane according to procedure
  • Assists in loading trucks
  • Utilizes systems to complete paperwork verifying correct shipping
  • Moves material to and from designated areas
  • Participates in company training on Safety, Hazard Communication, blood borne pathogens, and accident reporting, among others
  • Wears PPE equipment-steal toe boots, safety glasses, gloves and arm guards
  • Assists other employees as needed
  • Performs other duties
