Team/Position Summary: The Central Communications team acts as the hub for the Nintendo of America (NOA) Integrated Communications team: guiding campaign plans, overseeing reporting and insights, and optimizing operations for PR, Social Media, and Influencer Marketing. The Sr. Manager, Central Communications position will drive the strategic and operational focus for this newly developed team.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Integrated Communications, this role will manage and mentor a team focused on building campaign plans that have a clear and compelling strategic connection across functions and agencies, providing real-time insights on tactical executions plus sharing ongoing social listening trends, and improving workflow management systems and maintaining collaboration tools that create clarity and efficiencies for all team members.

As a leader on the Integrated Communications team, this role will work closely with the Sr. Manager, Social Media, Sr. Manager, Product PR, and Sr. Manager, Influencer Marketing to track major milestones, ongoing tactics, and upcoming activations to ensure that teams have what they need to be successful. The Senior Manager, Central Communications role is a continuous pipeline of information, keeping both broader teams and executive leadership aware of communications activities and performance-celebrating the work and providing opportunities to improve.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

  • Drives operational efficiencies while managing campaign planning and reporting alignment.
  • Manages a team, ensuring collaboration across internal and external teams to derive cohesive campaign plans that generate positive consumer conversations and drive sales.
  • Leads a team to establish modern and efficient reporting framework to track and maintain extensive reporting demands.
  • Evaluates results on an ongoing basis, adjusting and innovating to continuously improve ROI and ROE on campaign plans, tactical activations, and internal processes.
  • Reports regularly to leadership on status of campaigns, reports, and operational improvements, leveraging goals and KPIs to illustrate risks and achievements.
  • Implements, improves, and maintains workflows to keep cross-functional teams on track with ongoing campaign planning and reporting.
  • Spearheads the development and implementation of tools and processes that optimize the ability to deliver on goals effectively and efficiently.
  • Maintains a considered and expansive understanding of industry trends and best practices.
  • Develops and manages team, provides mentorship, guidance, career development, and performance management.

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience, with a minimum of three (3) to four (4) years of management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing communications tools, channels, and best practices.
  • Experience managing a team of professional individual contributors and/or supervisors.
  • Ability to influence senior leadership and teams in other areas of the organization.
  • Undergraduate degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States to be considered. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.

This position includes the base pay range listed below, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.

Pay Range:
$145,150—$261,200 USD
