Job Summary
  • The Systems Operator is responsible for the efficient operation for all screening, grinding and crushing equipment.
  • Responsible for packaging finished products with attention to detail of required packaging weights.
  • Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all associated equipment.
  • Responsible for general housekeeping tasks associated with the production process.
  • Responsible for maintaining all safety and environmental protocols.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Check all systems and equipment to ensure efficient operation.
  • Ensure the quality of all products on pallets.
  • Schedule and manage the transfer of material between plants efficiently.
  • Package finished product according to production schedule.
  • Inspect and make necessary changes in the grinding equipment for efficient operation.
  • Supply feed to all the sizing systems as required.
  • Perform any other task assigned by the Foreman, Supervisor or Manager.

Skills and Attributes Requirements
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
Must be able to lift 100 lbs. with assistance.
Must be able to work all shifts.
Must be able to walk up and down stairs.
Must be able to climb up and down ladders.
Must have good written and oral communication skills.
Must wear all required safety equipment.
Must be able to work a rotating shift.
Education/Experience Requirements
Must have a high school diploma or GED. Technical education is preferred.
Environment
  • While performing the duties of this job; the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, dusty conditions, high noise, outside weather in all conditions and materials used in the process.
  • Frequent walking, standing, and sitting with exposure to all seasonal climatic conditions.
  • Occasionally lifting, carrying, and/or pulling objects up to 50 lbs.
