Job description

Friends University is seeking to fill the Marketing Specialist position in Wichita Kansas.ย The Marketing Specialist is an entry-level position that supports the execution of the Universityโ€™s recruitment, marketing communications, and campaigns. Working closely with the Enrollment Marketing Manager and the Marketing Coordinator & Analyst, the Specialist produces and deploys content that helps Friends University reach and engage prospective students and families. As a member of a small, collaborative team, this position works as a marketing generalist and contributes to projects beyond its primary area of focus as needed. Work hours average 40 to 45 hours per week and include occasional evening and/or weekend hours for recruitment events.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist Enrollment Market Manager with implementing and deploying recruitment communication plans across email, social media, print, video, CRM, and the website. Build, schedule, and send communications, create supporting content, and help keep campaigns on schedule and on brand.
  • Create written and social content that supports recruitment campaigns while adhering to University brand standards. Assist the Senior Designer with routine production needs and coordinate basic projects through completion. Work with print vendors on marketing collateral as directed by the Marketing Coordinator & Analyst.
