Marketing & Communications Specialist
Our client is seeking a Marketing & Communications Specialist to support the Corporate Development team by executing integrated marketing and communications initiatives that strengthen brand awareness, enhance stakeholder engagement, and support business growth. This role is responsible for developing high-quality content, managing digital marketing channels, coordinating corporate communications and events, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver consistent, impactful messaging across the organization. Occasional travel to office and project locations may be required.
Your success will be defined by your ability to:
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing and communications initiatives that align with organizational priorities and business development objectives
  • Maintain a consistent brand identity by ensuring all internal and external communications reflect established messaging, voice, and professional standards
  • Create, edit, and manage engaging content for websites, newsletters, presentations, social media, corporate announcements, and other marketing materials
  • Manage and optimize digital marketing channels by planning content, monitoring performance, and applying insights to improve audience engagement
  • Utilize CRM systems to support stakeholder engagement, maintain accurate data, and assist with targeted marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate with leadership, business units, and external partners to develop marketing collateral, proposals, and strategic communications that support organizational goals
  • Coordinate corporate events, community initiatives, and promotional activities while managing logistics, branding, communications, and on-site support
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and audience insights to identify opportunities that strengthen marketing effectiveness and brand positioning
  • Maintain organized marketing assets, project documentation, and communication resources to support operational efficiency and team collaboration
Your strengths include:
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations, business administration, or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated experience creating business communications, marketing content, and professional presentations for multiple platforms
  • Experience managing digital marketing channels, social media platforms, and CRM systems such as Salesforce is considered an asset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, or similar design tools is an asset
  • Experience planning and coordinating corporate events, stakeholder engagements, or community initiatives is preferred
  • Familiarity with Indigenous culture and communities is considered an asset
