Job description

Pay range: $22-$24 per hour.

  • Full-time: 7am to 3:30pm
  • Part-time: 3pm to close (@7:30pm), 20-24 hours per week

Overview:

Do you love the hospitality and food & beverage industry? The Dining Server Supervisors in our communities do too! ย Their role is to get to know and serve our residents in their home. They also support the creation and execution of our signature dining services programs and supervise servers. These team members provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional and memorable dining experience for all of our residents. The Dining Server Supervisor will welcome and acclimate new residents as well as supervise the servers and closing the closing team so the dining room is thoroughly cleaned and set-up for the next meal. We serve Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner as well as two snacks, seven days a week. No late nights or super early mornings!

Areas of Responsibility:

  • High school graduate required. Prefer courses in hospitality management or dining room operations.
  • A minimum of one-year experience in โ€œfront of the house operationsโ€ in a restaurant, hotel, club or similar institution is preferred.
  • Experience in a Supervisor role in dietary or food services.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals to our residents in a safe, sanitary manner in accordance with Public Health Regulations, and in compliance with Sanitation Code.
  • Serve attractive, nutritious meals in a pleasant, respectful manner, mindful of the special needs of the residents.
  • Prepare the dining rooms daily: set tables, pour beverages, clear and clean dishes.
  • Promptly and efficiently attempt to resolve any resident or guest dining concerns.
  • Inspect the physical appearance of the dining room area and server stations to assure that they are clean and in good working order. Report any problems to The Dinning Services Director.
