Job description

Outpatient Physical Therapist Lymphedema

The posted compensation range of $52.15 - $77.58 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

As our Outpatient Physical Lymphedema Therapist, you responsibly provide specialty physical therapy assessments and treatments to patients as evidenced by a high degree of expertise in a given area or areas.

Every day, you will provide training and/or supervision to staff physical therapists. Provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment for patients with primary and secondary lymphedema, including post-surgical, oncology-related, and chronic venous insufficiency cases.

To be successful in this role, you may supervise or be responsible for a particular program such as in-service coordinator, outpatient cardiac rehab program, NICU follow-up program and/or day to day operations of a particular area of the department.

  • May have specialty certification in physical therapy field such as NDT, orthopedics, wound care, etc.
  • Fit and measure patients for compression garments.
  • Coordinate with vendors, and educate patients on proper use and long-term management.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans focused on edema reduction, functional mobility, pain management, and improved quality of life.

Required

  • Minimum of five (5) years clinical experience; evidence of extensive training in a given specialty area. Specialty areas may include but not be limited to: neuro rehabilitation, orthopedics, pediatrics, cardiac rehabilitation, hand rehabilitation, pain management and work hardening.
  • CT CPRBLS; LIC PT
  • Current CA license in Physical Therapy.
