Business Information Analyst II

Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1-2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. The Business Information Analyst II is responsible for analyzing the business process, proposing solutions to increase organizational effectiveness and identifying areas of improvement.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Analyzes data and summarizes performance using summary statistical procedures
  • Develops and analyzes business performance reports (e.g. for claims data, provider data, utilization data) and provides notations of performance deviations and anomalies
  • Creates and publishes periodic reports, as well as any necessary ad hoc reports
  • May require taking business issue and devising best way to develop appropriate diagnostic and/or tracking data that will translate business requirements into usable decision support tools
  • Interpret complex data sets and extract a meaningful insight that can drive the business decisions.
  • Provides analytic consultation to other business areas, leadership or external customers
  • Data analysis and reporting encompasses a much higher level of complexity

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BS/BA degree in related field and a minimum of 2 years related operational and/or data analysis experience, experience in database structures, and standard query and reporting tools; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

  • Strong experience with Excel.
  • SQL experience.
  • Ability to manipulate and present large sets of data strongly preferred.
  • Power BI and Tableau experience preferred.
  • Experience researching data trends preferred.
  • Experience with relational databases and knowledge of query tools and statistical software is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, presentation, and problem-solving skills highly preferred.

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $67,360 to $121,248
