Job description

Our MedTech Registered Nurse Liaison experiences a unique opportunity and leverage your clinical expertise in a dynamic role that goes beyond bedside care. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and advocate for the well-being of patients through medical device technology. You will be responsible for assisting the service team in device collection while facilitating room to room device upgrades.

What you will be doing in the role:

  • Navigate units and coordinate with unit nurses to assist with pulling pumps as needed. Utilize clinical nursing expertise to answer questions and address concerns with the medical device.
  • Collecting devices in a hospital setting while collaborating with the department nursing staff and field service technicians
  • Provide updates, reports, and valuable feedback to during and after in-service assignments as directed.
  • Utilizing previous hospital experience and customer service skills to ensure the device collections process does not interfere with the location's activities.
  • Training for this role will be provided and is paid.

You will have an opportunity to travel, grow, and expand into new opportunities while earning supplemental income and learning the medical device industry.
Job Requirements:

  • Nursing Degree (ADN or BSN) required.
  • Hospital or industry experience required.
  • RN license required.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with both department staff and our own technicians where needed.
  • Ability to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, bending, kneeling and some lifting of equipment may be required for up to 50 pounds.
  • Availability for 3 weeks per month and 1 week off

Travel Requirement:

  • Full-time commitment with travel flexibility.
  • Assignment-based schedule with 40+ hour commitment per week. Travel nationally to support customer needs. There is not a guarantee of 40+ hours per week in this role, but it is the ask.
  • Driving is considered a business requirement for this role. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and will be subject to a review of their driving record prior to hire.
  • Personal vehicle required for job-related assignments up to 3 hours from home.
  • Located within 1 hour of a major airport.
  • Travel, and your time traveling is paid.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Emergency Room or ICU experience preferred.
  • Leadership experience (manager, educator, preceptor) can be helpful but is not required.
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently in customer settings with minimal supervision.
