Job description

Laconia Nursing home is an independent, family-owned facility in the Bronx. We are looking for an RN to join our leadership team.

Essential Duties:

  • Establish a compassionate environment by providing support to Residents and their families.
  • Maintain documentation of Resident care services by auditing Resident and department records.
  • Create appropriate care plans for residents 
  • Handle all supervisory duties for assigned units, including overseeing LPNs and CNAs that report to you
  • Help establish and implement employment policies and procedures
  • Maintain the standards of care for the units
  • Review Resident records & quality of care
  • Monitor overall care & review individual Residents’ cases
  • Address questions or complaints brought forward by Residents or their families

Education, Experience and/or Training:

  • Long-term Care experience preferred
  • Valid RN license required
  • 2-4 years management experience.
  • knowledge of City, State and Federal regulations pertaining to licensed skilled nursing facilities.
