The Role

Reporting to the Sales Development Manager, your primary role will be to generate new opportunities through outbound calls, emails and social media. Were looking for a forward-thinkingSales Development Representativesomeone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, research, and human connection. This isnt your typical SDR role. Youll serve as a strategic partner to our field sales team, enabling them to have more meaningful, well-researched, and high-probability conversations with the right people, at the right time. You will drive interest in the Vivi solution and hold high-level conversations with key faculty contacts about their current in-classroom technology strategies and identify how Vivi can add value to their staff and students! This role has advancement potential within our sales organization and offers a commensurate pay and uncapped commissions.

This role is 100% remote, but we are looking for an individual in the Eastern/Central Time Zones.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Outreach & Research

  • Disciplined call approach, consistently meeting volume requirements.
  • Efficientaccount and contactresearchutilizingAIto uncoverprospectneeds, initiatives, and ideal timing.
  • Use signals fromdistrict strategic plans,tech stack data, and intent tools to informtalk trackstrategy.

Meeting Generation & Enablement

  • Book high-quality, well-aligned discovery meetings and demonstrationsfor Account Executives
  • EquipAccount Executiveswith relevant context and briefing notes ahead of every call to ensure relevance and momentum.
  • Build warm lead pathways by engaging key personas over time.
  • Partner with Account Executives

Process Optimization & Feedback

  • Collaborate with sales leadership to analyzewhatsworking and refine outreach strategies.
  • Maintain clean CRM records, tagging accounts appropriately, and ensuring lead source traceability.
  • Share learnings and market insights back to marketing, product, and go-to-market teams.

Qualifications:

  • A relationship-first communicator who thinks beyond scripts and understands buyerpsychology.
  • Experienced in outbound sales, prospecting, or demand generation (13 years preferred).Alternatively, experience in K-12 education is also considered equivalent.
  • A tech-savvy researcher, comfortable using tools like HubSpot,Claude,LinkedIn,Zoom, or similar.
  • Organized, curious, and results-drivenwith a natural bias toward action.

Bonus points if youve worked in EdTech, SaaS, or a fast-paced B2B environment.
