We're Hiring!

Are you outgoing and customer-focused? Do you enjoy working with the public? If you answered yes to these questions, working for a State Farm independent contractor agent may be the career for you! State Farm agents market only State Farm insurance and financial service products.

Responsibilities include using a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options. Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals. Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.

As an Agent Team Member, you will receive hourly pay plus commission/bonus, health benefits, paid time off (vacation and personal/sick days), flexible hours, valuable experience, and growth potential/opportunity for advancement within your agency.

Requirements include excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and listening; enthusiasm about the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams; people-oriented; ability to work in a team environment; ability to multi-task; ability to make presentations to potential customers; bilingual - Spanish required; property and casualty license (must be able to obtain); and must be available to work the following schedule: Mon - Sat 9am - 7pm.

We help customers with their insurance and financial services needs, including auto insurance, home insurance, life insurance, business insurance, health insurance, and renters insurance. Our office is located in Downey, CA. Our office is open Mon - Fri 9am - 7pm & Sat 9am - 2pm. I have been a State Farm agent since 2015. We currently have 5 team members at our agency. Additional languages spoken: Spanish.
