Job description

Sailfish Mechanical is a rapidly growing mechanical contractor serving commercial customers throughout Palm Beach and Martin County. Our team services a wide range of equipment, including air conditioning systems, pumps, boilers, and refrigeration units.

We are a customer-focused company committed to delivering exceptional service from start to finish. We’re looking for motivated professionals who are seeking a long-term career—not just a job.

This is a non-commission position with top-tier hourly pay.

What You’ll Do

  • Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
  • Diagnose service issues, source replacement parts, and clearly communicate solutions to customers
  • Collaborate with team members and support co-workers as needed
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for nights/weekends to handle emergency service calls
  • Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in good working order
  • Complete job documentation and manage materials efficiently
  • Attend and participate in company-provided training

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years of HVAC service experience
  • EPA Certification (required)
  • Strong working knowledge of various HVAC systems and manufacturers
  • Professional communication and customer service skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Strong sense of urgency and problem-solving ability
  • Clean, neat, and professional work habits
  • Team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn
