Job description

This role provides analytical support to the Independent Agent Channel Marketing Department. The individual will design, develop, and maintain reporting, perform data analysis, and deliver actionable insights to drive business performance and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Agency Distribution & Field Operations Support

  • Support the Revenue Operations Manager in KPI tracking, reporting, and performance oversight
  • Analyze quoting and sales trends across agents to identify risks, gaps, and growth opportunities
  • Monitor and assess the competitive landscape, including agency compensation structures (base commission, profit sharing, and new business incentives)
  • Recommend and help implement enhancements to agent incentive programs
  • Leverage AI and analytical tools to evaluate state-level and individual agent performance, and propose data-driven improvements

Comparative Rater Strategy

  • Evaluate comparative rater vendors, including agent adoption, and recommend optimal configurations (e.g., questions, mappings, defaults)
  • Analyze vendor workflow changes and recommend appropriate company responses
  • Design and execute A/B testing to optimize quote flow and user experience
  • Support implementation strategies for rating and coverage updates
  • Identify and assess new vendor opportunities
  • Monitor the impact of changes and compare results against expectations

Education, Requirements & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or analytical discipline
  • Experience in insurance, marketing analytics, or product management preferred
  • Strong SQL and advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, and IT
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders through data-driven insights
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment

Salary Range

The pay range for this position is $90,000 to $130,000 annually. Actual compensation will vary based on multiple factors, including employee knowledge and experience, role scope, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
