Job description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced NCCCO Crane Operators for projects located in or around Harvey, LA.  This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $40-$48/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Equipment Operator and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:         

  • Operate lattice boom crawler cranes on industrial and marine construction projects
  • Perform lifting and material handling operations in compliance with site safety requirements
  • Work on remote job sites as needed
  • Support construction activities while maintaining safe crane operations
  • Follow all project specifications and operational procedures

Requirements:

  • Valid NCCCO Certification with Lattice Boom Crawler (LBC) or Lattice Boom Crane (LAT) designation
  • Valid TWIC Card
  • Heavy friction crane operating experience
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel regularly to remote work sites
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and fit-for-duty examination
  • Must be eligible to enroll in the DISA program

Preferred Experience:

  • Manitowoc 4100 or similar heavy friction cranes
  • Cranes mounted on barges or other marine vessels
  • Marine pile driving
  • Working on or near the Lower Mississippi River
  • Industrial or marine construction experience
