The Learning Technology Center (LTC) is a program of the Illinois State Board of Education and serves as the state's primary source of technology support for K12 schools. About the Position

The LTC is seeking an Instructional Technology Coach to partner with schools in transforming teaching and learning through impactful, research-based use of technology. This is a unique opportunity to support educators across multiple districtsincluding Pleasant Hill District #69, Monroe School District 70, Washington Grade School District #52, Central School District 51, and Tonica CCSD 79helping turn innovative ideas into meaningful classroom practice. When not working directly with districts, you'll also contribute to regional and statewide initiatives that advance educational technology across Illinois.
In this role, you'll work side-by-side with teachers and district leaders to provide job-embedded coaching (co-planning, modeling, co-teaching, and feedback), design engaging professional learning, and support the thoughtful use of instructional technology and AI. You'll have the opportunity to influence real changealigning your work to district priorities, building teacher capacity, and using data to show measurable impact on instruction and student learning. We're looking for an experienced educator or instructional leader with a passion for teaching and learning and a strong background in educational technology. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys collaborating across schools and districts, and is excited to help educators grow. This position requires at least 5 years of experience in education, the ability to provide both in-person and virtual support, and willingness to travel between districts. A bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
