Job description

HVAC Dispatcher

A Long Island City based HVAC Service Company seeks an energetic and aggressive HVAC Dispatcher with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Candidate will ensure that all calls for service, repair and maintenance are handled in a timely fashion. Candidate should possess good oral and written communication skills, both with coworkers and over the telephone with outside company associates.

Responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:
  • 3+ years' experience dispatching
  • MUST have experience in a highvolume service organization
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Proficient multitasking skills
  • Demonstrates the ability to be proactive and resourceful
  • Takes initiative, pursues opportunities, and is goal oriented
  • Dispatch technician(s) for scheduled maintenances, emergency and routine service calls
  • Dispatch technician(s) based on skill and location
  • Serve as liaison between technician(s) and clients to determine course of action
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Qualifications & Skills:

    The ideal candidate will possess previous Customer Service experience in a business to business environment. Microsoft application experience is a must Knowledge of the following programs is preferred:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics for Field Service is preferable
  • ServiceChannel
  • FM Pilot
