Description
The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide care at a vibrant community health center (FQHC) and oversee patients in the HIV Program in Des Moines, IA! As part of Primary Health Care, Inc's program The Project, this role will work with a variety of patients who are at risk or living with HIV alongside Case Managers in an integrated care setting.
Position Highlights:
  • Work/Life Balance: flexible schedule within clinic hours of 8:00a-5:00p with no call & no weekends
  • Full-Time Role: 40 hours/week seeing on average 20 patients per day
  • Financial Support: Eligible for student loan repayment through state & federal programs
  • Competitive Salary: $92,400-$138,600 depending upon experience
  • EHR: Ochin Epic

Requirements
What you'll need
  • 1 year of clinical experience preferred
  • Bilingual in English & Spanish preferred

Nurse Practitioner:
  • Graduation from an accredited/approved NP program
  • Licensed by the Iowa Board of Nursing as a NP

Physician Assistant:
  • Graduation from an accredited AMA-approved PA program and/or certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants.
  • Licensed by the Iowa Board of Professional Licensure; licensed to practice in Iowa.

Salary Description
$92,400-$138,600 depending on experience
