Job description

PAY RANGE: $18.00 to $28.00 / Hour

Western Grain Marketing specializes in providing comprehensive grain handling, storage, and marketing solutions for customers.

We are committed to being the leading grain marketing and service company in our area.

We're looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Grain Customer Service Representative to support our daily operations and deliver excellent customer service. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is interested in agriculture or grain operations.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers-both in person and by phone-and assist with new account setup.

Assist with grain deliveries, contracts, and general account inquiries.

Enter and maintain accurate records of scale tickets, contracts, and settlements.

Coordinate with operations and accounting teams to ensure smooth grain handling and customer satisfaction.

Communicate pricing, delivery schedules, and contract details as needed.

Help resolve customer questions or concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Maintain organized documentation and support office operations.

Prepare, submit, and maintain compliant lien filing documentation.

Manage customer text communications, including signatures and e-signatures, with timely, accurate responses and proper documentation.

Required Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma or equivalent, or previous experience in agriculture or a related field.

Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

One (1) to three (3 ) years of customer service, administrative, or agriculture-related experience preferred.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Basic computer proficiency.

Follow safety and compliance standards to help ensure their well-being and the safety of others.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work in various weather conditions, during peak planting and harvesting seasons, and outside of normal hours throughout the year to meet deadlines and demands.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
