Job Title: Outside Sales Representative (Santa Rosa, CA territory)


Job Overview:

We are seeking an energetic, goal-driven, and customer-focused Outside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities as well as maintaining our strong relationships with existing glass shops. You will be driving sales growth and contributing to our company's success in the market.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development: Identify and prospect new clients in various industries, such as construction, architecture, and interior design.
  • Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events and trade shows.
  • Develop and present customized proposals, pricing quotes, and contracts to meet customer needs.
  • Achieve sales targets and KPIs by closing deals and driving revenue growth.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and issues are resolved promptly.
  • Regularly visit customers on-site to assess product needs, offer solutions, and promote new or upgraded product offerings.
  • Provide technical and product knowledge support to clients to ensure they understand the advantages of our products.

Market & Product Knowledge:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Communicate new product developments and innovations to customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (inside sales reps, production, transportation, etc.) to address customer-specific requirements.

Reporting & Administrative:

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activity, and forecasts
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, track performance and progress toward goals.
  • Ensure timely and accurate follow-up on all quotes, orders, and customer inquiries.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in outside sales, preferably in the manufacturing or construction/building industries.
  • Knowledge of glass products, manufacturing processes, or architecture is a significant advantage.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary plus commission structure. Total compensation package will range from $80k to $200k+
