Job description

*SIGNING BONUS AVAILABLE - $3,000 after 9 months*

About the Role

K2N Crest is seeking a motivated Structural Engineer with 3–5 years of experience with strong Revit skills. In this role, you will work on a diverse mix of projects, including structural design for new and existing buildings, forensic investigations, restoration, and existing‐building analysis.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving unique building challenges and wants meaningful, hands‐on experience both in the field and in the office. You will collaborate closely with senior staff, contribute to technical decision‐making, and gain exposure to all phases of project delivery.

Education Requirements

  • BS or MS in Civil or Structural Engineering

Experience & Skills Required

  • Proficiency using Revit (BIM)
  • Experience using RISA‐3D, Tedds, or similar structural design software
  • Professional registration (PE or SE) is a plus
  • 3+ years of experience in structural design or forensic investigation preferred
  • Experience with vintage materials or historic structures is a plus

What You’ll Do

  • Design and analyze structural systems for new and existing buildings
  • Conduct field investigations and document existing conditions
  • Prepare reports, cost estimates, and scope documents
  • Produce construction documents (drawings and specifications)
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and consultants
  • Provide construction administration services, including:
    • Shop drawing review
    • Field observation
    • Change Order review
    • Payment application certification
  • Work on projects with a wide range of scope, size, and complexity
