Job description

We Don't Need a Creative Strategist. We Need a Revenue-Generating Idea Machine.
Creative Strategist
Most creative strategists make pretty ads. You'll engineer the concepts that scale to millions in profitable revenue.
About Rescale Media
We're not just another e-commerce company. We're a brand incubator on a mission to build enduring, value-driven brands that bring meaningful products into families' lives.
We've scaled from just drop shipping to a 30+ person team doing $1M+/month. Our goal? Multi 9-figures. And we're just getting started.
Check our Careers page to learn more.
Our Core Values
GENIUSES & OWNERS We partner with builders who think like founders. Not employees waiting to be told what to do-owners who see a problem and fix it.
ITERATIONS > HOURS We don't measure success by time at your desk. We measure it by how fast you can test, learn, and improve. Ship it. Learn. Repeat.
TRUTH OVER EGO We prioritize honesty and clarity, even when it's uncomfortable. No politics. No BS. Just data and results.
The Role
This is the role that moves the needle more than any other. Our Creative Strategists don't just come up with ideas-they architect the concepts, angles, and hooks that turn cold audiences into raving customers.
You'll work at the intersection of psychology, data, and creativity. Every concept you develop will be tested, measured, and either scaled or killed based on real performance data.
Our brands serve families and parents who want magic in their children's lives. You'll create advertising that resonates deeply with these audiences-not cheap manipulation, but genuine connection.
We require at least 3-5 concepts per week and are open to working with freelancers.
Requirements
What You'll Do
  • Develop creative concepts, angles, and hooks that drive profitable customer acquisition
  • Write ad scripts, headlines, and copy that convert
  • Analyze performance data to understand what's working and why
  • Brief video editors and designers on creative execution
  • Manage the creative testing pipeline-always have winners in the queue
  • Stay on top of creative trends, competitor ads, and market dynamics
  • Collaborate with Media Buyers to understand what's scaling and what's not
  • Build and maintain our creative knowledge base (what works for our brands)

What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of creative strategy experience in DTC/e-commerce
  • Portfolio of ads you've created that scaled to significant spend
  • Deep understanding of direct response principles
  • Strong copywriting skills-you can write a hook that stops the scroll
  • Data literacy-you can read a dashboard and extract insights
  • Experience briefing creative teams (video editors, designers)
  • Understanding of Meta's ad ecosystem and creative best practices

Bonus Points:
  • Experience with mission-led or family-oriented brands
  • Background in UGC strategy and influencer creative
  • You've built creative processes from scratch
  • Performance marketing or media buying experience
  • Strong understanding of consumer psychology

This Role Is NOT For...
We're being direct because we respect your time:
  • Creatives who care more about awards than results
  • Those who can't take feedback on their "babies"
  • Anyone who thinks strategy and execution are separate jobs
  • People who aren't comfortable with rapid iteration and testing

Benefits
Compensation & Benefits
Monthly Salary: $3,000 - $5,000/month
Plus:
  • Ad Bounty Program: Earn 2-7% commission on ad spend for high-performing creatives (ROAS 2.1+)
  • Remote-first environment (European timezone preferred)
  • Work with a team of A-players who actually give a damn
  • Direct founder access-no layers of bureaucracy
  • Real ownership of your domain-we don't micromanage

Our Hiring Process
We don't waste time-yours or ours. Here's how it works:
  • Step 1: Application (You're here!)
  • Step 2: Initial Interview with CHRO
  • Step 3: Internal Assessment by Rescale
  • Step 4: WhatsApp update for next steps
  • Step 5: Signing of Independent Contractor and NDA
  • Step 6: Onboarding and Training
  • Total timeline: 1 week from application to offer.

P.S. Our best-performing ad ever was a simple concept that took 20 minutes to write. It's generated over $1M in revenue. If you understand why simplicity often wins, we should talk.
P.P.S. If you're reading this far, you're already more thorough than 90% of applicants. That's exactly who we want.
